Enabling & Automating a Multi-Cloud Strategy
This roundtable will focus on automation and DevOps across your applications, your infrastructure, and your secure network. Our tech-exec roundtable will be led by Erik Fritzler, Principal Infrastructure Architect of H&R Block. He will dispel how large distributed global networks can be secured, automated, and managed from a centrally located SOC/NOC.
Erik Fritzler of H&R Block
Erik Fritzler has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology and Networking. He’s a forward-leading, big thinker with a passion for tranformative and cutting-edge technologies, such as SD-WAN and Cloud, which is why we had to have him for this executive roundtable.
Erik is a believer in the power of sharing and collaborating with other like-minded individuals to evolve this industry. Outside of work, his focus and energy is on his family, donating his networking skills and knowledge to both ITDRC and local STEM programs, and stress-testing SD-WAN platforms in his tech dungeon… <cough> lab.
Eric Pierce of Greenbrier Companies
Eric Pierce has been driving innovation in the largest enterprises across the globe for over 20 years. He is currently VP of Applications and Infrastructure at the largest manufacturer of railcars and barges in North America – The Greenbrier Companies. Don’t let the VP title fool you, as Eric’s technical acumen is rarely challenged even by his most senior engineers. He’s a technologist, strategist and visionary with a strong background in business.
Eric never stops learning and holds a high standard of continual education for his teams. We wouldn’t be shocked if he tried or even thought about automating his team in a CI/CD Pipeline. Outside of work, his focus and energy is on his family, his friends, and ever building and tinkering in his shop or making any excuse to roam the great outdoors.
We were also joined with three leaders to discuss the unique tech solutions Erik and his team leverages to achieve extensive automation gains in a very competitive retail industry.
What to Expect

The featured speaker’s presentation and discussion will typically revolve around 3 different but interoperable technology solutions and will each be represented by a leader from those technology companies.
