3 Tree Tech Acquires Konnect.io, Adds Head of Development and Innovation to Leadership Team
PORTLAND, OR — March 16, 2026 — 3 Tree Tech (3 Tree), a technology advisory firm serving all levels of leadership across enterprise and mid-market organizations, today announced the acquisition of Konnect.io, a privacy-first B2B demand generation platform for cybersecurity vendor discovery. As part of the acquisition, founder Kodie Kennedy joins 3 Tree as Head of Development and Innovation.
The acquisition marks 3 Tree’s expansion from technology advisory and scouting into hands-on technology development. Kennedy, who previously served as a business development specialist at Axis Security (acquired by HPE Aruba Networking), built Konnect.io to address a fundamental problem in cybersecurity procurement: buyers drowning in vendor noise with no way to evaluate solutions on their own terms.
Konnect.io’s platform enables IT and cybersecurity professionals to browse and engage with vendors anonymously through a proprietary “Konceal” feature, initiating contact only when they choose. The model aligns directly with 3 Tree’s founding philosophy that technology leaders deserve advocates, not salespeople.
